WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY

N.S.S unit of our college conducted a competition on poster making and awareness video making about the topic “no tobacco” .A webinar was conducted on 1/06/2021 Tuesday through Zoom platform related to anti tobacco day celebration. . Programme inaugurated by our principal Dr.VM Anandakumar . More than 100 of students participated in the meeting. The program started with NSS prayer by Keerthi.The welcome speech was delivered by Dr.S.S.Unnithan, N.S.S Programme Officer. At the inaugural speech our respected principal had said about the ill effects of tobacco in our life and reminded our volunteers’ duty to aware it to the public. He once again promised all types of support in doing such creative and informative efforts by our units. All the creative works prepared by the volunteers were presented in the meeting . After the presentation Akhilasree.L, the N.S.S Programme officer congratulated those volunteers who had participated in the competition. Vote of thanks was delivered by Smrithy, the N.S.S volunteer . The program ended at 8:30 pm
This webinar was very informative and reminded the participants about the need of healthy living in order to protect their future generations.
