Department of Physical Education

The Department of Physical Education has earned reputation for its outstanding achievements in sports and games. Since early 90‟s the college has excellent record in Athletics. Presently, we have excellent teams in Football, Kabaddi, Ball-badminton, Softball, Baseball and Cricket in men‟s category. We also have good teams in Softball, Baseball and Athletics in the women section. Last year, the college had won University championships in Football, Kabaddi and in Best Physique championships. Besides, the department offers an Open Course, one of the most preferred among the category, for the 5th semester students. The Department also possesses a gymnasium which is used by quite a few students. The Department organizes various Interdepartmental competitions and Annual Athletic meets.
